We are sad to announce that on August 21, 2024, at the age of 94, James K. McLaughlin Sr. of Brooksville, Florida, born in Clinton, Massachusetts passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James K. McLaughlin Sr. to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John McLaughlin and Gertrude McLaughlin (Kirby); his wife Anita McLaughlin (Pratt); his former wife Barbara McLaughlin (Congdon); his siblings, John McLaughlin, Virginia Fidrocki and Gertrude Spencer; and his granddaughter Keri Lynn McLaughlin.

He is survived by: his children, James K. McLaughlin, Jr. of Louisville, KY., Linda S. Taylor (Gary) of Millbury, MA. and Gail McLaughlin-Toti (Ernie) of Juno Beach, FL; his grandchildren, Erin, Tami, Kelly-Anne, Ryan and Kristy; his great grandchildren, Haleigh, Garrett, Delaney, Jax, Finn, Britta, Charlie and Bowie; his great great grandchild Colten; his friend Eddie Bonin; and his nephews, Patrick McLaughlin of Clinton, MA. and Michael McLaughlin of Clinton, MA.. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made too St. Jude's Children's Research.

“I am sorry to hear of James's passing. I knew him for a number of years while he has married to Anita, my sister. I know he made her happy and they loved each other so much. He will be missed by so many. I remember going to their house in NH and then many visits to the Florida home. I have so many memories of him. His love for playing golf. His love for his cats, including the one he found at the golf course where he worked. Thank you for all the beautiful memories. Karen Obillo”
