He was predeceased by: his parents, Bryan Oden of Washington and Amy Dell Slaughter; his wife Patricia L. Oden; and his daughter Tammy J. Oden. He is survived by: his significant other Connie Phillips; his sisters, Lois Cox, Linda Johnson and Allene Ashmore; his children, Edgar Lee Oden, II (Diep Vu) of Texas and Christine Lynn Oden (Leslie Collura) of New York; his granddaughter Amanda (Eric Ansley); his children, Crystal (John Moore), Daniel Oden and Benjamin Arcemant (Juanita) of Texas; and his great grandchildren, Jaxon Ansley and Logan Moore.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the King of Kings Lutheran Church (10337 US-19, Port Richey, FL 34668).
