The passing of Dorothy J. Zappa of Brooksville, Florida leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on December 14, 2024 at the age of 89. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Hoffmann and Katherine Hoffmann (Schaefer); her husband Dominick J. Zappa; and her brothers, Albert and Bougie.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Zappa (Tina), Annemarie Addonizio (late Frank) and John Zappa (Cindy); and her siblings, Millie (late Jake), Eleanor (Bob) and Edward (Denise). She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:30 PM at the Merritt Funeral Home (4095 Mariner Blvd, Spring Hill, FL 34609). A graveside service will be held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Florida National Cemetery (6502 SW 102nd Ave, Bushnell, FL 33513).
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Dorothy's name to the Perkins School for the Blind, 175 North Beacon Street, Watertown, MA 02472.
