She was predeceased by: her husband Peter P. Zabel Sr.; her parents, Elmer Duquin and Doris Duquin (Hanley); her siblings, Lois Bening (Duquin) and James Duquin; and her brother-in-law Dale Zabel.
She is survived by: her children, Cheryl Zabel of Grand Island, NY, PeterJ, Frederick W. Zabel (Kim), Melissa (Michael) and Murphy of Lewiston, NY; her grandchildren, Meahgan Murphy, Kelly Levinsky (Conner), Zachary Zabel, Kelsey Zabel and Matthew Zabel; her great grandchildren, Maddox and Molly Levinsky; her sisters, Joyce Irving (Donald) and Carol Beaver (James); and her siblings-in-law, David Bening, Louise Zabel (Dale) and Connie Duquin (James). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Nativity Lutheran Church (6363 Commercial Way, Brooksville, FL 34613).
