He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd and Agnes (Byler); and his brothers, Billy and Harry. He is survived by: his wife Nancy (Marvin); his son Larry Witherspoon (PJ) of Horn Lake, MS; his siblings, Edward Witherspoon of Brooksville, FL and Bette McKim of Enon Valley, PA; and his brother-in-law Daniel Marvin (Trudy) of Independence, OH. He is also survived by 2 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Due to Covid and traveling restrictions, a Celebration and Thanksgiving of his life will be held at a later time.
