She was predeceased by: her husband Henry Caruthers; and her daughter Brenda Easto. She is survived by: her parents, Tramell Shaw and Opal Shaw (Herndon); her son Dean Johnson; her grandchildren, Richard Storms, Priscilla Storms and Tasha Bevis; and her sister Margaret Pierson.
