With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Sally Thomas of Brooker, Florida, born in Gainesville, Florida, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Sally left this world on September 25, 2024 at the age of 77, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, J. V. Edwards and Zona Edwards; her in-laws, J. T. and Montine Thomas; and her sister-in-law Bobbie Ellis.
She is survived by: her husband Ronald Thomas; her son John Thomas (Kara); her grandchildren, Connor and Mackenzie Thomas; her niece Kerry Rawn (Jack); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Grace and J. D.; and her sisters-in-law, Peggy MacFarlane, Doretha Barry (Chris) and Marie Skinner.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 30th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Archer-Milton Funeral Home (55 N Lake Ave, Lake Butler, FL 32054).
In lieu of flowers the family is asking for donations to be made in her memory to, GRACE Marketplace (http://www.gracemarketplace.org) in Gainesville, the non-profit homeless shelter her son works at.
