He was predeceased by: his former wife Betty Houseman Gilbert; his parents, Carroll Willis and Francis Revelle Gilbert; his son Randy Gilbert; and his brothers, Warren and Tim Gilbert.
He is survived by: his wife Bobbie; his children, Chuck Gilbert (Maria Elena), Alan Gilbert (Jeannie), Beau Gilbert (Julia), Mary Graddick (Wayne), Tracy Wagner and Mandy Robinson (Will); his grandchildren, Charlie Gilbert (Jayla), Christy Gilbert, Chana Paxton (Chris), Chase Gilbert (Jerrica), Charity Spann (Tristen), Randy Gilbert, Jr., Destini Vorhees (Wesley), Tiffany Sache (Jake), Sable Davis (Austin), C. J. Gilbert, Becky Henderson (Joseph), Devin Griffis, Cody Griffis and Robby Wagner; and his siblings, Mary Ruth Butler, Bessie Harmon and Louia Gilbert. He is also survived by sixteen great-grandchildren.
