He was predeceased by: his parents, Otis Thomas and Dorothy Thomas; and his children, Otis, Dorothy Thoms Sr., Verlene Ryan, Maecel Copeland, Mae Eva Hines, Geneva Milton and Terry Thomas.
He is survived by: his siblings, Clarence Copeland of Arcadia, FL, Otis Thomas of O'Brien, FL, Calie Thomas of O'Brien, FL, Eveline Reid (Darrell) of Lakeland, GA, Stella Thomas (Willie) of Lake City, FL and Mercedes Gaskin (Maurice) of O'Brien, FL; his sisters-in-law, Glenda Thomas (Bruce) of Orlando, FL and Van Jones of Bronson, FL; and his cousin Louise Wilkerson.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the New Grove Missionary Baptist Church (1005 Suwannee Ave NW, Branford, FL 32008). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
