He was predeceased by: his parents, Ronald F. Thomas and Audrey R. Thomas; and his brother-in-law Nathan Newcomb. He is survived by: his wife Janice Thomas; his child Kelly D. Freer (Jon) of Denver, CO; his stepsons, Elijah Wilson of Branford, FL and Luke Wilson of Ft. White, FL; his grandson Dillon Thomas of Branford, FL; his sisters, Pam Thomas Sedalia (Charles) and Janet Gottschalck of Morrison, CO; his grandchildren, Zane Freer, Logan, Ethan, Kaylinn and Ava Wilson; his nephew Ronald Arnold (Amanda) of Knob Noster, MO; and his niece Rachel Fanch. He is also survived by extended family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers the family would like donations to be made to National Kidney Foundation in honor Mike.
