She was predeceased by: her husband Edward Daniel Newbern, Sr.; her son Ronny Joe Newbern; and her siblings, Frances Rickerson, Betty Jean Boyd, Bobbie Bias, Cecil J. Tummond, C. D. Tummond, Ralph Tummond and Leon Tummond.
She is survived by: her children, Lana Newbern Herndon, Mary Susan Newbern Cole, Edward Daniel Newbern, Jr. and Larry Carl Newbern, Sr.; and her siblings, Shirley Tummond Keller of Ocala, FL and Billy Tummond of Eagle Lake, FL. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; twenty-eight great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
