He was predeceased by: his parents, John Marvin and Myrtle Ivey Lease Odom; and his siblings, Betty Hurst, Cecil Odom and Harley Odom.
He is survived by: his wife Minnie Pearl "Penny" Odom of Beachville, Florida; his sons, Donald M. "Donnie" Odom, Jr. (Robin) of Alachua, Samuel D. "Sammy" Odom (Karen) of Beachville and Timothy T. "Tim" Odom (Robinette) of Live Oak, Florida; his sisters, Rachel Odom Bailer of O'Brien, Linda G. Collins (Gerald) of Branford and Marvynell Anderson (Andy) of Lake City, Florida; his sisters-in-law, Lorraine Odom of Lyle and Florene Odom of Nashville, Tennessee; and his grandchildren, Jes Odom (Sarah), Amanda Watts (Jason), Sarah Rendek (Mac), Brett Odom, Joel Robinson and Todd Odom. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
