He was predeceased by: his father Slayden Ira Blanton II; and his grandmother Merle Blanton. He is survived by: his wife Melissa Blanton; his children, Austin Blanton (Naomy), Bradley Trice (Melinda), Cody Blanton (Madison), Aubrey Blanton and Bailey Douglas; his grandchildren, Natalia, Brayden of Austin, Nova, Daniel, Maddox and Atticus; his mother Phyllis Blanton; and his siblings, Phebe Dudley (Jeff) and Slayden "Ira" Blanton.
