He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Boyd; his children, Walter Boyd IV, Veronique Schmidt, Ashante Lyons and Alysia Evans; his siblings, Vernon Boyd, Margarita Boyd and Julia Haynes; and his grandchildren, Ahmunet, Eva, Juliana, Amiyah, Zechariah, Byron, Deric, Tayler and Andrew (Kenn Connor). He is also survived by Aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
