He was predeceased by: his mother Mary Fowler; his stepmother Sylvia Capitano (Isabel); his father Sam Capitano; his daughter Mary Capitano; and his grandson Tyler Tackett.
He is survived by: his daughters, Jennifer, Alysha (Fernando) and Cecilia (Jeff); and his brothers, Sammy, David, Mike and Johnny. He is also survived by his nine granddaughters.
