She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Johnson and Emeline Lewis Johnson; and her brother Winston Johnson (Keith Patrick). She is survived by: her children, Angela Brissett (Norman), Geoffrey McKenzie and Terence McKenzie (Dave); her siblings, Enid Earle (Dennis) and Arthur Johnson (Olive); her grandchildren, Monique McCubbin, Andre Johnson, Jeffrey Turner Jr., Taylor Turner, Jaylen McKenzie, Kristian McKenzie, Kamryn McKenzie and Carter McKenzie; her great grandchildren, Arkeem Settle Jr. (Papi), Justice Settle, Hayden Turner and Alina Johnson; and her grandsons, Christopher Douglas and Marquis Hill. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and life-long friends.
