He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Hall and Everlena Hall; and his daughter Linedera Hall. He is survived by: his children, Alonzo Hall (Ossie), Anita Campbell, Bonita Grimmage (Zebulon), Marion Hall Jr. and Corey Hall; and his sisters, Mamie Vasquez and Sally Fulton. He is also survived by 24 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
