She was predeceased by: her husband Stephen Buchanan. She is survived by: her children, Christopher (Cindy Buchanan), Wayne (Julie Buchanan) and Sandra Buchanan of Brandon, Florida; her sister Janet; and her brother-in-law Ed Sjolund of Sudbury, Massachusetts. She is also survived by five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
