He was predeceased by: his parents, Lillian Jackson and Vincent Mason; his brother Orville "Jackie" Mason; his son Tony Mason; and his aunt Vida Mason.
He is survived by: his wife Norma Elaine Mason; his children, Dr. Tania Mason-Eastmond and Linden Mason; his grandchildren, Aiden Eastmond, Amaris Eastmond, Mya Mason, Kayla Mason, Kaleb Mason and Troy Mason; his great grandchildren, Lennox Mason and Cynthia Mason; and his cousins, Beryl Thomas, Althea Wright, Delton Huet, Dave Campbell, Fitzroy Thomas, Sandra Wright, Carlos Thomas, Christopher Thomas, Sally-Ann Sargent and Unis Mason.
