He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Docite Michaud and Modeste Michaud (Deschane); his former wife Zula Rhea Michaud of Brandon; his granddaughter Renee Michaud DeMarco; his son Dan Allen Michaud of Gibsonton, Florida.; his wife Alyce Michaud; his daughter Kathy Ferlita; his granddaughters, Kristina Cole and Amy Reitzfeld; his great grandchild Jessilyn; and his great great grandchildren, Renee and Onyx.

He was recognized for his outstanding contributions to Strategic Air Command of the 379th bomber wing, completed Intelligence Officer training at Gunter AFB in Alabama, USAF Air University.
