He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Farnsworth and Delphine Farnsworth; and his brother Mark. He is survived by: his wife Tammie Farnsworth; his son Michael Farnsworth Krista Farnsworth (Danielle); his grandchildren, Jacob, Nicholas, Emma, Akeelah, Reagan, Margaret, Jane, Elias, Poppy and Tobias; and his sisters, Sue Lowe (Phil) and Kristen Curlee (Greg).

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Michaela Farnsworth, Pastor's youngest daughter, to help with upcoming college expenses.
