He was predeceased by: his parents, John F. Hatch, Jr. and Florence Huxford Hatch; and his brother Richard D. Hatch. He is survived by: his son John F. Hatch IV (Denise) of Orlando; his grandchildren, Branden and Brooke Hatch; and his sister Martha H. Hatch Davis (Linwood L. Davis) of Winston-Salem, NC..

Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the New Hope Church (213 N Knights Ave, Brandon, FL 33510). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the New Hope Cemetery (319 New Hope Rd, Brandon, FL 33510).
