Joan Spencer Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Spencer (Brandon, Florida), born in Altoona, Wisconsin, who passed away on March 4, 2019, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Bredesen and Ruth Bredesen (Johnson); her husband Neil; her sons, Neil Jr. (Punky) and Chris; her siblings, Jerome Bredesen, Robert Bredesen and Betty Toutant; and her siblings-in-law, Lloyd Toutant and Edna Bredesen.
She is survived by: her children, Punky, Renee Brooks (Kevin), Shari Haroldson and Jackie Lindsey; and her sisters-in-law, Marlene Bredesen and Patricia Farrell (Manor). She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren.
Joan was diagnosed with Alzheimer's several years also and enjoyed her last years with her family, traveling, working out, and dancing to the very end.
