He was predeceased by: his parents, James Herman Jackson, Sr. and Grace Bedingfield Jackson. He is survived by: his son James Allen Jackson of Brandon, Florida; his brothers, H. Ronald Jackson (Betty) of Riddleville, R. Wayne Jackson (Sandra) of Riddleville, Henry P. Jackson (Joy) of Riddleville and Bruce Jackson (Edie) of Sandersville, Georgia; his siblings-in-law, Mike Thomas (Linda) of Pensacola, Florida, Sharon Bowman (Jerry) of Pell City and Barbara Thomas of Brandon, Florida; his niece Tammy Thomas-Katrein (Keith) of Brandon, Florida; and his nephew Evan Thomas (Bennie Thomas) of Brandon. He is also survived by several other nieces, nephews, cousins and many devoted friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to New Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 1829 New Bethel Road, Bartow, Georgia 30413.
