He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lehman Summerlin and Mrytle Summerlin; his wife Martha M. Summerlin; his daughters, Karen Lakeman Dawsonville (Kirk) and Georgia; and his grandchildren, Morgan McGee (Kyle), Davis Lakeman, Brooke Hopee (Chas) and Cody Summerlin (Kelsey Matuszak).
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in Hayward's name to the Alzheimer's Association or Lifepath Hospice.
