He was predeceased by: his parents, George Reed Sr. and Anna Victoria Cyphers (Joycelyn Reed); his brother Jimmy Irons; and his daughter Patricia Reed. He is survived by: his children, Richard Reed (Beth), Jeff Smith (Susan), Vicki Wright (Steve), Josie Reed-Szymanski (David), Susan Lutsko (Brian), Judy Garbee (Steve) and Brenda Smith; and his brother Jack Irons. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
