We bid farewell to Faye Whisenant of Brandon, Florida, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 18, 2025 at the age of 86. Faye touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her husband Herbert Houston Whisenant, Jr.; her children, Amanda Dawn Dupraw and Michael Houston Whisenant; and her grandchildren, Carolina Dawn Dupraw and Matthew David Whisenant.
She is survived by: her sons, Timothy Ray Whisenant and David Alan Whisenant (Cheryl); her grandchildren, Crystal Lynn Akens (Branden), Shannon Marie Whisenant, Zachary Alan Whisenant (Hunter) and Kathryn Nicole Mac Leod (Colin); and her great grandchild Hayden Dupraw.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 28th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Hillsboro Memorial Cemetery and Funeral Home (2323 W Brandon Blvd, Brandon, FL 33511). A funeral service will be held on Monday, April 28th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in her name to a charity of your choice.
