He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon Keels and Elizabeth Keels (Lommax); his wife Donna Keels (Keeton); his brothers, Wayne, Lewis and William Keels; and his sisters-in-law, Billie Mae Long and Patricia Keels (Roach).
He is survived by: his children, Dwight Jr. (Julie) and Denna Keels; his grandchildren, Anthony (Taylor), Deidra, Michael "Joey", Jenna Keels and Kerll Cooper; his great grandchildren, Kaden and Kaleb Keels; his sisters-in-law, Lee Keels and Faye Sawyer (Tim); and his friends, Gary, Marla Bennett and Robert Rippey. He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
