He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Rimmer and Una Johnson Rimmer; his daughter Paula Dawn Rimmer Franklin; and his siblings, Jerry F. Rimmer and Sue Rimmer Holbert Mabe.
He is survived by: his wife Wanda Youmans Rimmer; his sons, David Michael Rimmer (Linda) and Mark Weaver (Olivia); his brother Donald C. Rimmer (Faye); his sister-in-law Mary Lois Rimmer; his mother-in-law Mattie Lee Youmans; his grandchildren, Travis P. Rimmer, Austin M. Weaver, Jesse Lemons, Jared Lemons, Melanie Garrison and Matthew Garrison; and his great grandchildren, Harper Rimmer and Presley Waldrop. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
