We are sad to announce that on November 13, 2023, at the age of 98, Charles Edward Ruby of Brandon, Florida, born in Columbus, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Marie Ruby and Albert Ruby. He is survived by: his wife Betty Lou Sims Ruby; his daughter Pamela Hubbard (Bill); his brother Don Ruby, Sr. (Joyce); his granddaughters, Tabitha Hertz (Michael) and Katie Nail (Jameson); his great grandchildren, Matthew Hertz, Caleb Nail and Charlotte Nail; his nieces and nephews, Steve, Denny, Donnie, Michael, Karen and Jennifer; his stepson Geoff Schoolfield (Laura); his stepgrandchildren, Samantha and Justin; his stepgreat-grandson Nolan; his sister Helen; and also, Josephine and Bobbie.
In lieu of flowers and because Chuck loved to make others laugh, we ask that donations be made to "Funny for the Forgotten" (a non profit started by Christian comedian Michael Jr) whose mission is to give people who are often forgotten hope through laughter.
