She was predeceased by: her parents, Vivian Hammond (Jackson) and George Swain Hammond; her spouse Russell Godrey Moore, Sr.; and her daughter Toni Oden. She is survived by: her children, Bubba and Russell G. Moore, Jr.; her son-in-law Sam Oden, Sr. of Chicago, Illinois.; her grandchildren, Tasha, Ayinde and Sam, Jr.; her brother Paul B. Hammond of Milton; and her sister-in-law Ann Hammond of East Providence, RI.. She is also survived by 22 great grandchildren and 5 great grand grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Onley Street Baptist Church (100 Olney St, Providence, RI 02906). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
