Vivian A Davis Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Vivian Alberta Davis.

Vivian went to be with the Lord on March 16, 2019 in Bradenton, Florida. She was born February 16, 1927 in Rillton, Pennsylvania and was the daughter of Walter and Emma Plues of Irwin, Pa.

Vivian leaves behind her husband Robert “Bob” Davis of 64 years, her children Melanie and Bobby. Grammy leaves behind her three grandchildren David, Marcie, and Bryan, great-granddaughters Sara, Olivia, and Valerie, and sister Kathleen (John Barr) and brother Wally Plues (Susan). She was predeceased by her sisters Bette Mowery and Sally Blake.

Vivian was a devoted wife and mother and was the glue that held our family together and we will miss her greatly. She was a God-fearing woman who loved the Lord. She was a long-time member of Lutheran Church of Our Savior, Irwin, Pa, Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Irwin, Pa, and Trinity Lutheran Church, Bradenton, FL.

A celebration of life service will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church in Bradenton, Florida on April 6, 2019 at 11:00am with burial of ashes in the church memory garden.
