He was predeceased by: his grandparents, James, Dorsey Handy, E. W. "Doc" and Mary Epperly. He is survived by: his parents, Roger Handy and Anna Handy of Radford, VA; his brothers, Brian Handy of Radford, VA and Roy Handy (Amie) of Christiansburg, VA; his nieces and nephews, Ainsley Handy Posillico (Joe), Emily Handy Snider (Hunter), Ryan Handy, Ethan Handy and Eric Handy; his great-niece Kylie Posillico (Handy); and his aunt Epperly.

Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Mullins Funeral Home (120 W Main St, Radford, VA 24141). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
