He is survived by: his parents, Harold Calkins and Mildred Calkins; his spouse Gwendolyn Rosser Calkins; his children, Cynthia Troy, Nancy Johnson, Timothy Calkins and Mary Dunkerton; his sister Jane Nahikian; his sister-in-law Annie Calkins; and his siblings, Harold, Donald and Jean. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
