He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Rickert and Mary Jan Rickert. He is survived by: his wife Heidi Rickert; his children, Cheryl Hammond (Christopher Hammond) and Bryan Rickert; his grandson Tyler Lake; his stepgranddaughters, Noel Burke and Kara Marcus; and also, Payton Hammond, Gideon Rickert, Gabriel Rickert and Nathaniel Rickert.
In lieu of flowers the family prefers donation made to the Bridge Church, for the children's youth summer camp in his name.
