It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard S. Olson of Bradenton, Florida, born in Allentown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 1, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothea Olson Todino and Stanley William Olson; and his brother Peter Olson. He is survived by: his wife Jane; his daughters, Sherri Olson Hewett, Kimberly Ann Olson, Christin Tinsworth Baker (Martin) and Summer Tinsworth Sletten; and his sister-in-law Katie Olson. He is also survived by two nieces and two nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: Christ Episcopal Church, the Manatee Community Foundation, the Bishop Museum or Hillsdale College.
