She was predeceased by: her parents, James Millard and Leona Barrett Van Dien; her husband Fred Lybolt Hammond of Hammond's Service Center; her brothers, James M. Van Dien, Jr. and David L. Van Dien; and her sister-in-law Victoria Van Dien.
She is survived by: her children, Lee McVey (Richard Delgado), Marie Engels of Dickinson Center, NY and Fred L Hammond of Bradenton, FL.; her grandchildren, Jed Engels (Maggie Carr), Josie Castillo (Ivan) and James Engels; and her siblings, Ferris Van Dien, Lee Kochenash (John) of Naples, FL and Rheba McKernan (Bill) of Cape Coral, FL. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
