It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peggy Ellis of Bradenton, Florida, born in Roanoke, Virginia, who passed away on March 5, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elisha Nehemiah Miller and Annie Peters Miller; her husband Dave; her sons, Mike Ellis and Tom Ellis; her siblings, Elisha J. Miller, Robert J. Miller, J. Hunter Miller and Ora May Sluss; and her sister-in-law Jean Miller.
She is survived by: her son Richard Ellis (Anne); her grandchildren, Rob Haupt, Kelli Dilsaver, Katie Ellis Cooper and Cassie Ellis; and her sisters-in-law, Margaret Lee Miller and Ann Miller. She is also survived by several nieces & nephews.
Memorial contributions may take the form of a donation to the Tidewell Hospice or MOTE Marine Laboratory & Aquarium.
