She was predeceased by: her parents, Damon Slawter and Ruth Slawter (Bryant). She is survived by: her daughter Karen Ammons (Ken); her brother Gerald'Jerry'Slawter; her grandchildren, Kendra Roark (Andrew) and Kory Ammons (Alexandra); her great grandchildren, Penelope and Mitchell Roark; her nieces, Becky Shively (Sonny) of Erie, PA and Cheryl Slawter of Akron, OH.; and her nephew David Slawter of Akron, OH..

She moved to the Bradenton area in 1996 where she worked several interesting jobs until she was forced to retire at 90 due to Covid.
