Larry LaVern Almond Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 16, 2024, at the age of 84, Larry LaVern Almond of Bradenton, Florida, born in Oskaloosa, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, LaVern and Dorothy; and his sister Linda Stroup. He is survived by: his wife Sandy of Parrish, FL; and his daughters, Kim Karns of Tukwila, WA, Kristine Turner (Rick) of Asbury, IA, Michelle Jones (Jerry) of Indianola, IA and Bridgette Stevens (Jeff) of Omaha, NE. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
In Lieu of flowers, charitable donations may be made in Larry's honor to the Mustang Foundation, Inc., with Independence Community School District.
