He is survived by: his wife Teresa Marsala; his children, Josephine Tanzi, Diane Gaffney and William E. Marsala; his children-in-law, Roxanne Corrieri Marsala and Gary Gaffney; and his grandsons, Steven Tanzi, Joseph Tanzi and William Edward Marsala.

A funeral service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Joe's memory to St. Jude's Children Hospital, honoring his lifelong commitment to generosity and helping others.
