It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Donald Plourde (Bradenton, Florida), born in Stockholm, Maine, who passed away on April 29, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Florent Plourde and Leontine Plourde; his former wife Viola; his son Michael; and his siblings, Candide, Irene (Queenie), Orilla, Marie Velma, Velma, Mildred, Allen and Theresa (Terry).
He is survived by: his wife Jean of Hilliard, Ohio; his children, Teri Callender (Dan Callender) of Sarasota, Florida and Philip Plourde (Robin Voster); his grandson Erik Plourde of Cedar Falls, Iowa; and his brothers, Alfred "Pete" Plourde of Seffner and Gregory Plourde of Stockholm, Maine..
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Kobacker Hospice House in Columbus, Ohio or the Knights of Columbus Council #3192 at Our Lady of the Angels in Lakewood Ranch, Florida.
