With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John E. McMackin of Bradenton, Florida, born in Limestone, Tennessee, who passed away on February 23, 2024 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Elza McMackin, Sr. and Emma Sue Austin; his brothers, Clyde, Norris and Doyl; and his sister-in-law Ellen Jane McMackin.
He is survived by: his son Keith W. McMackin (Linda E.); his grandchildren, Nicole E. Wilinski (Karl) and Austin W. McMackin (Helineh Madroosian); his son Mark E. McMackin; his grandchildren, Ross McMackin (Teren), Nancy Tena (Armando) and Pilar Tena; and his stepchildren, Dr. Gary A. Dawson (Julie Baglien), Marna L. Dawson Mucha (William), Mark B. Dawson (Betty) and Gayle A. Musolf Lyons (Sheldon). He is also survived by children and grandchildren.
