With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan K. Hurley of Bradenton, Florida, who passed away on March 25, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Joan departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Joan may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Joan leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel Boone Burns and Roberta Ruth Burns. She is survived by: her spouse Jerry Clifford Hurley; her children, Deron Patrick Hurley (Shirley Deanna Hurley) and Sharon Lynn Rypel (Daniel Joseph Rypel); and her grandsons, Trenton Connor Hurley and Daniel Logan Rypel.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the Mansion Memorial Park (1400 36th Ave E, Ellenton, FL 34222). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 at 7:30 PM at the same location.
