He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon D. Herring and Dorothy Lyford Herring; his son Isaac Herring; his brother Peter W. Herring; his uncle Douglas Lyford; and his grandparents, Byley, Verna Lyford, Herbert and Doris Herring.
He is survived by: his wife Eileen M. Herring; his stepson Adam (Alicia); his daughters, Ryleigh and Jade; his granddaughter Leah (Justin); his great grandchildren, Ainsley and Adalyn; his siblings, Susan H. Perkins (Mike Schneider), Jane H. Hoffman and Steven Herring; his nephew Chris Perkins (Megan); his aunt Marlene Lyford; his mother-in-law Sandra Powell; his siblings-in-law, Scott Hughes (Karen) and Brenda Walker (Doug); and also Logan (Sabrina).
