He was predeceased by: his parents, George Anthony Karas Sr. and Bertha Yerzak Karas; and his son Clifford Joseph Dufour, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Gilberte Clavette Karas "Freshy"; his brothers, Robert Karas of Waterbury and John Karas of Escondido, California.; his son Philip Dufour (Joann) of Waterbury; his grandchild Eddie Dufour (Susan) of Bradenton; and his daughter-in-law Linda Coleman Cyphers of Ocala, Florida.. He is also survived by 9 Grandchildren, 20 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
