He was predeceased by: his parents, William G. Gilbert and Mary Lee Gilbert. He is survived by: his wife Lisa Gilbert; his children, Matt Gilbert (Courtney) of Seymour, IN and Kyle Gilbert (Hayley) of Indianapolis, IN; his siblings, William G. "Bill" Gilbert, Jr. (Sandy) of New Albany, IN and Ann Riddle of New Albany, IN; his grandchildren, Paisley, Jayleigh, Blakely and Wrenly Gilbert; and his stepchildren, Jennifer Long of Norman, OK, Ryan and Andrew Long of Asheville, NC..
