He is survived by: his parents, Kathy Fulghum and David Wetzel Sr; his brother David Wetzel Jr (Kerry); his nieces, Rhiley and Madelyn; his sisters, Shelby Wetzel and Tarra Fulghum; his aunts, Tina Cunningham, Sharon Chasteen and Vickie Lischka (Daniel); his cousins, Johnney Chasteen, Amber Lischka and Christopher Cunningham; and his nephew Wyatt Douglas.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to the Epilepsy Foundation.
