He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Forrest W. Schofield and Margaret C. Mullen; his children, Robin Schofield (Dave), Pamela Eason (Tim) and Douglas Schofield, Jr. (Doug); and his grandchildren, James, Lindsey, Nicholas, Alex, Nathan and Ellie. He was also cherished by his wife, children, grandchildren, brothers, a sister and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations to the Wounded Warrior Project.
