He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie James and Inez Truewell Williams (Maggie Edwards). He is survived by: his wife Evone Williams; his children, Omar Edwards, Katarsha Murray (Nigel), Lashonda Bradwell, Rufus Bradwell and Ramirez Bradwell; his grandchildren, Niquayria, A'layiah, Alxavier, Omar Jr., Lil'Rufus, Capri, Ka'mari, Ka'miya, Ce'asia, Ceon, Ja'myri, Jaquez, Romaro, Zari, Zoeriah and Reele; his great grandchildren, A'majai and Derrick Jr.; his siblings, Bertha, Leola, Earvine, Annette, Sonya, James, John (Ladawn), Larry (Brenda), Dale and Willie Vegas; his father-in-law Woodrow Edwards; his in-laws, Sharon Wilson (Byron), Ann Bridges (Charles) and Bruce Edwards; and his aunts, Margie G. Woodson, Reatha Placid (Jude), Bennie Mae Yon, Alma McDuffie and Violet Dixon. He is also survived by aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at 609 9th St W, Palmetto, FL 34221. A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Mt. Raymond Full Gospel Baptist Church (2410 4th Ave E, Palmetto, FL 34221).
